This panel will explore the ways in which German culture lives on in our community today at local and national levels. Moderator Dorris Keeven-Franke will introduce Consul General Herbert Quelle who will share Deutschland Jahr, Steve Belko from the Missouri Humanities Council who will talk about the German Heritage Corridor, the St Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities President Susanne Evens who will talk about the Sister Cities Programs, and the German language initiatives, and all will speak on other issues related to contemporary German American life.
